Classic Era Lightroom Presets: How-To Download, Import, and Apply!

August 20, 2020 by Holli Mostella Leave a Comment

Edit your photos with ease with one click Lightroom Presets. Take your photography skills to the next level, and help them stand out with pops of color, or choose cooler or warmer tones. These presets were designed to work with every photo, from loved ones to products.

You ready to start editing, sis? Let’s do this!

Step 1: Purchase the Classic Era Presets

You can purchase my Classic Era Lightroom Presets here.

Once you’ve purchased the presets you will receive an email (please allow 5-10 minutes for the email to come in) with a link to download them.

IMPORTANT: You MUST open this link on a mobile device.

Step 2: Download the Lightroom Mobile App

If you don’t already have it, download the free Lightroom Mobile App from the App Store. Once downloaded you will be prompted to create an account and log in.

Step 3: Download the Presets

Open the email you received after your purchase and click the link provided. You will be redirected to a Google Drive link where you will find your new library of presets.

Begin by tapping the 3 dots next to the first preset. Next tap the “Open in” option and wait for the preset to export.

Step 4: Import the Presets to Lightroom

Once the export is complete, choose the Lightroom app and select “Launch Lightroom Now”

Now you’re ready to begin importing the new preset to Lightroom.

Find the new image in your “Recently Added” folder and tap on it to select it.

Tap the circle icon with three dots in the upper right and choose “Create Preset”. Next, give the new preset a name (we recommend keeping the same names that are noted in the Google Drive link).

Finally, tap the checkmark icon to save the new preset.

Pro Tip: Create a new preset group called “Angels” to add all of your new presets to. This will keep them all together in a group and make them easier to find when you’re ready to start editing your photos.

Step 5: Rinse + Repeat!

Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all of your new presets have been imported.

Step 6: Apply your Presets

Now that you’ve got your new presets imported, you’re ready to start editing with a single click!

Simply open the photo you want to edit in the Lightroom app and tap “Presets” in the menu at the bottom of your screen (you may have to swipe and scroll to the right to find it). Select the preset you’d like to use then tap the checkmark icon to apply it.

That’s it! Export your newly edited photo and you’re good to go!

Happy editing, sis!
